We have a date! The fiance and I will be getting hitched on July 20, 2013 at the Happy Days Lodge in gorgeous Peninsula, Ohio. The Lodge is part of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, and is managed by the non-profit Conservancy for CVNP.
From the Conservancy’s website, the Happy Days Lodge boasts:
A 4,000 square-foot Great Hall and breezy screened-in porch surrounded by a rolling meadow is the ideal setting for an unforgettable wedding event. This unique venue is on the national register of historic places and is a gorgeous example of a wormy chestnut and sandstone structure, built in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps.
Isn’t it just amazing? We feel so lucky to have scored such an amazing site. Now to plan an epic party to go along with it!
